Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius

I believe in a spirit far greater than my simple mind could imagine. But  having walked the streets of Pompeii, I'm not sure that my personal problems and wishes consume a responsible God's immense concern.  Naples Italy

Amalfi, Italy

Amalfi Church

The Amalfi coast is a fantastic drive by car or motorcycle. These photos were from one of the many inexpensive tourboat rides along the steep cliffs of the Mediterranean, graced with small farm terraces, and the homes of many interesting people from around the world.

Sistine Chapel

This is the most crowded place I have ever been in my life. I was being shoved forward, backward, left and right all at the same time while trying to take a 1/4 of a second film exposure with a Mamiya 6 in very dim light. Old paintings are kept in the least light possible, and the lights are turned off at night. Flash is not permitted, as light fades the pigment.

There are so many people that want to get into this awesome room, and so little time. This is the best I could do.

There is such a great story told here. If you can hear God speak, you will hear Him in this room.
