A terrible place to loose a cow.

Cedar Breaks National Monument

A lifetime is a high mountain
from which to look__
search your soul__
weigh your deeds__
find your heart__
across the years.

In this vista, the fleeting nature of time, impossible beauty of space, and the magical qualities of this human chance are all vividly evident for all to see, and exceedingly patient for those slow to understand, this view_  that we all must.

What do you See ?

... a gentle wind whispered,

" So you want to know the truth do ya. What lives there, deep inside the hearts of men_  what good_ what evil... So I say to you then, from this moment on, you will be as two, one being your heart and the other your eyes. One only a witness to the deeds of the other. In this way will you know_ in one lifetime.

So you want to know in intricate detail, the design of Heaven and Earth, you don't say. What Form of Beauty_ what degree of random... So I say to you then, when you look at the world, you will be as two, one being your heart and the other your eyes. One only a witness to the action of the other... by these means, will you understand, across Seven Seas and One Hundred Mountain Ranges. "

Square Tower House

Spectacles will endure in obscurity, should one live a thousand lifetimes, and countless be  wonders in the vista. Infinite in diversity of form,  arrangement of color,  correctness of distance,  they are conducted by the symphony of time, and narrated  by the wind.      Mesa Verde,  Colorado

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

I just stumbled upon this path, you see, it appeared as good as any so I took it,

and then it forked and forked again, while little did I know, I had walked so far, as the time passed so quickly.

One day I happened by chance upon where I started, and stood there

just looking down, same place, same path . . . different man.

Glacier National Park, Montana

"" A few more moons, a few more winters, and not one of the descendants of the mighty hosts that once moved over this broad land or lived in happy homes, protected by the Great Spirit, will remain to mourn over the graves of a people once more powerful and hopeful than yours. But why should I mourn at the untimely fate of my people? Tribe follows tribe, and nation follows nation, like the waves of the sea. It is the order of nature, and regret is useless. Your time of decay may be distant, but it will surely come, for even the White Man whose God walked and talked with him as friend to friend, cannot be exempt from the common destiny. We may be brothers after all. We will see "".   excerpt from   AUTHENTIC TEXT OF CHIEF SEATTLE'S TREATY ORATION 1854.   Version 1 as it appeared in the Seattle Sunday Star on Oct. 29, 1887, in a column by Dr. Henry A. Smith.

The beauty of Glacier in my opinion rivals that of any other land in North America except Alaska. It is truly a spectacular experience. Across the border into Alberta is Waterton Lakes National Park,  which is just as beautiful, and it doesn't end there.

Funny thing about boundaries, you don't hear much if anything about the other side until you get there. When you do, you don't hear much from where you came. It's got to do with economics, see. Get your gas and supplies on the U.S. side before crossing over. The Canadians will pull your eyes out. If you're in a motor home don't buy meat or fresh vegetables before coming back into the U.S. as they may be taken by the USDA people.

Yellowstone National Park

The Yellowstone River is one of the better trout streams in the lower 48. The average size is on the small side, but you can catch them all day. Problem is, it's hard to stop looking at the scenery. Lower Falls of The Yellowstone River

If I would run in the opposite direction, beauty would follow me, change its place in the Universe. Before the big bang, while fate was all rolled up in a twinkling in the eye of the Great Creator, it was decided.

Haleakala Creator Maui, Hi

Life is a wondrous gift. The world is beautiful. And then one finds that something extra that is magic.

When I was a little boy, I believed  this extraordinary quality existed, and that I would see it.

Michelangelo painted it on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the form of God reaching out to Adam.

Haleakala is that inspiration in the raw.

Many Glacier, Glacier National Park

Former native range of The Blackfeet Indian Nation, but This one Nation Under God of ours swindled them out of it.

Yep, they started their lies and thievery at Plymouth Rock, and didn't stop till they acquired Yosemite. God kicked the evil sob's out of Heaven, and the Devils have plundered this Earth.

They Made War with and cheated the Red Man out of everything that was rightfully His. They came from overseas with sheets of blank paper and wrote their own Land Titles and Laws to enforce their greed.

The White man shot the Indians like dogs and glorified themselves in doing so. European Heads of State perfected their wickedness and robbery for thousands of years, sailed across the Atlantic and polished their dark skills at the expense of Peoples who lived as one with The Earth.

"We will Buy it for pennies on the dollar and rent it back to the Savages ". "Yeah, we will put a meter on it, and these ignorant natives will never get the Title back, or own it again, nor realize our existence because we are The Deep State. "

However, Karma.

He walked across most Native American Lands in North America and learned to read what is chiseled in the cliffs and overhangs. Yeah, him in the blue coat. The Glyphs and Paintings say " There is assembled a great Army. Its name is " here to set the record straight, have come to take it back, we were not kicked out of Heaven ".

Bodie Church

This is the church at Bodie California. It's the absolute most extensive and best preserved ghost town one can imagine. The structures, goods, and furnishings were well kept by the arid climate. For one who loves old things it is paradise.

Carlesbad Caverns, New Mexico

I didn't have a tripod here so I used flash. I think it's what made things colorful. In reality, the formations are dimly lit and pretty grey. Inside the big room the ceiling is 300' high, but this isn't it.

Tenaya Lake, California

Exiting Yosemite National Park towards Tioga Pass and Lee Vining, Tenaya Lake is one of the more beautiful roadside vistas in this country.
