Pertified Forest National Park

There was once a vast forest here in the Petrified Forest and Painted desert, (a vast expanse of bad land in north eastern AZ).

In the desolation and eerie silence petrified wood and dinosaur bones are exposed by wind and rain. At a certain time of year when rare rains fall, the desert is transformed into a painted landscape by flowers, but it's hard for a simple mind to imagine, having not seen.

"This supreme science was thus received through the chain of disciplic succession, and the saintly kings understood it in that way. But in course of time the succession was broken, and therefore the science as it is appears to be lost." Bhagavad Gita 4.2

Amalfi, Italy

Amalfi Church

The Amalfi coast is a fantastic drive by car or motorcycle. These photos were from one of the many inexpensive tourboat rides along the steep cliffs of the Mediterranean, graced with small farm terraces, and the homes of many interesting people from around the world.

Heceta Head

It is a wonderous drive along the Pacific coast from Southern California to Olympic National Forest. There are hundreds of historic sites, state parks, National Parks, and scenic viewpoints along the well maintained highway.

Denali / Mount McKinley Summit

The Pilot told me he had been flying the mountain for 5 years and had never experienced as clear a day as this.

I believe it should be called Denali. No man's name could describe the vastness of Alaska, or this "Mon-tane''.

Trinity Site

In the New Mexico desert stands this simple sign insufficiently warning the world of human conditions. Complacency, greed, arrogance, and a closed mind to other Religions are not the friend of your grandchildren.
